Minimal loading on existing blower system with typical 1′-1.5′′ pressure drop.
Activated carbon filters are not recommended for use where very large quantities of contaminates or highly toxic substances are produced, such as in acid digestions or evaporation of solvents to dryness.
The recommended filter is the main single layer filter to be used for the application. In cases where more than one chemical family is involved it may be possible to use a multi-layered filter. High volume of flammables fume are not recommended due to static spark risk.
